This is a "WORKAROUND" - what means there is no Fracture Modifier Build based on Blender 2.8 yet!
I figured out many tricks to fracture a Blender 2.8 scene with a FM2.79-Build and bring ALL SIMULATIONS (fracturing, particles, smoke, autohide) back into Blender 2.8 to render it with EEVEE.
I show you how to use external cache-files, alembic and how to transfer data (objects) between 2.79 and 2.8!
It took long to find working ways but finally it is really simple to understand and it works fast and stable.
I hope you like this workaround.
Looking forward to your comments!

In my opinion, these fork projects like Fracture, 2.79 Icons and E-Cycles are a disturbing sign that the blender foundation is becoming very out of touch from the users of Blender. People are willing to compile their own builds for simple, optional features that harm no one, but BF does not merge them into trunk, citing reasons like backwards compatibility (which i have a hunch is something most blender users are not very concerned about)
I don't want to start another flame war though. I hope the community can find a peaceful solution to this problem in spite of those who are quite angry about this state of affairs. It would be nice to have more open and democratic discussions of which features we want (and what problems we are willing to tolerate) going forward.
(I also understand that this is very much probably not the best place for this message. If someone can point me somewhere more constructive that would be very appreciated!)
