  1. I always thought ai refers to machine learning. I doubt however that a machine can learn a lot from only a single data (shouldn't call it data but datum since it is singular). So what is so intelligent here?

    • Not you, clearly. LOL. Kidding. The learning (e.g. analyzing large numbers of before/after noisy/denoised images) has already happened! It's coded into the denoiser's algorithms. If it were otherwise the results would suck for a long, looong time until you had done a huge number of renders.
