There are a lot of Light speed and light streak effect tutorials out there, but I wanted to create something that was a little more authentic in style to the iconic Star Wars hyperspace effect. In this tutorial we will discuss how to create the star field using particles and how to animate the streak effect with complete control. We will also look at a practical camera effect to add some extra dynamics to the shot and, hopefully, faithfully recreate light speed in a galaxy far, far away.
