We have released a new version of the BlenderKit add-on(both for 2.79 and 2.8).

There are several new features, but mainly stability fixes in 2.8 version:

  • Thumbnail previews now respect image aspect ratio.
  • Asset preview scales down when it doesn’t fit in your 3d view.
  • Ratings UI was moved under the asset bar – it’s now more visible and hopefully bug free.
  • We did quite a lot of work to strip down the size of our addon.
  • New Fluid preview object helped a lot to keept he file size down, and also looks better!
  • Asset preview text was reduced, to keep things more readable.
