Hi Blenderites, I'm Jimmy from Ireland, i'm a self taught Blender jack of all tabs and i've been toying with Flip Fluids in blender these past few days. When i posted the results a few people requested a tutorial so here's my very first Blender video tutorial.
I made a few rookie errors like forgetting to turn on screencast keys but i'm happy with it and am confident upper beginners and intermediates will have no trouble following along.
This method covers a few different sections, First the character and fluid setup & bake but also a necessary export via alembic from 2.79 to 2.8 as EEVEE crashes when rendering a sim that was baked in it. (just a bug so it wont need this workaround for long) . Then a very quick camera/light/settings setup for EEVEE and render.
Hope it's not too long, i shall try to streamline the next one.
Enjoy
Jimmy

This looks fantastic, and I'll add, would look a lot better with the new sheeting feature! https://twitter.com/FlipFluids/status/1092476368930037760
