Here's a quick tip about where to get a free heightmap for making the moon with displacements. It fits perfectly on a UV sphere - check "generate UV's" when you create it and you barely have any work left. Just plug the texture into the displacement socket. I also show how to add some extra smaller detail, since the heightmap is not very detailed. You can experiment with it and take it as far as you like!
