I’ve created a modular components demo, demonstrating how to use the Python Components in UPBGE 0.2.4. The whole demo was written with only 335 lines of code and 0 logic bricks (previously impossible with standard BGE).
UPBGE is an upgraded branch of the standard 2.79 Blender Game Engine, adding much more functionality and new features. You will need to have UPBGE 0.2.4 to run the demo.

I love how UPBGE has got more popular after death of BGE.
and the whole Blender game community seems to have waken up.
I love to search bge or upbge on youtube and sort by new to see how much new stuff has been uploaded
Until Armory3D reaches maturity, I think UPBGE is the best solution as a Blender-Integrated Open Source game engine.
UpBGE ist great. And Python as well. Thank You for that Demo. I’ll try to figure out what it does and what the benefits are.

I notice that the STATE Logic brick don’t work. Do I need to input the python script so UPBGE can produce the binaries to understand the actions? I does not want to to go to state two. In fact, I need to check if it can go to other states layers.
