I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

I'm really missing Shift+Ctrl+Alt+C, to set Origin To Geometry or Origin to 3D Cursor. In 2.7x, I used this shortcut all the time to quickly 'rescue' the origin to the mesh centre after a lot of heavy vertex editing, or to set an object's rotation point. Now on 2.8 it's only available on a slow...slow... menu option (Object > Transform > Origin to Geometry) and the key map editor doesn't show it as a selectable function either ;-(
I agree with the commenter above, I also miss having a shortcut for setting the Origin to Geometry or Origin to 3D cursor. It used to be "Shift+Ctrl+Alt+C". The shortcut itself could be made shorter (ha), but we still need something! It's an extremely useful feature, I used it all the time :) Thanks!
