I'm Felix, a 28 year old Media Art and Design Masters Student at the University of Fine Arts Saarbrücken/Germany. Every now and then I give courses to teach the students how to work with Blender.
The idea is to work on a collaborative project with a main topic, to which the students produce an indiuvidual sequence. I try to hold a balance between giving enough creative space and setting a frame in order to keep a certain quality for the final result/ film.
As a concept, I chose the Single Camera Track for my past two courses.
"Low Poly Welten" was the title of the beginners workshop. Within seven days I tought all basics to create a simple but nice low poly scenery. We talked about rules in concept design and discussed our concepts.
"Im Berg" was built on the Low Poly workshop. The idea was to create a camera track for a videolift that was going to be presented at an exhibition about coal mining (which is an important historical topic in the region near to our university).
Within one semester we created concepts for this topic and developed short sequences in Blender. The videos are made to deliver the atmosphere of being deep in the underground. It makes me happy to teach Blender and to present you guys these projects.
