I have browsed the files on my backup HDD and entered into a folder containing many hours of recordings of my Blender modeling. With some models I forgot to enable the record a few times.
With this particular model there is full 8 hour of recordings with modeling process. Yet there is no recordings for the UV and texturing. But I really like how this car is turned out. I decided to finally upload a time-lapse video with this funny little British car. And if it will interest anyone I will upload a few other videos in the future.
You can see the model here:

The body shell on a Bond Bug is fibreglass so shouldn't rust
Yes I know that.
But I don't know how the fibreglass is getting old. And I love the rusty look.
Take that not as a realistic but as artistic approach ;-)
Orange paint is (and was) lead based. Water intrusion in lead based paint is therefore prone to rust (which is actually why it's orange), and the net result is potentially more accurate than you think. If you wanted it any more realistic, then paint would fleck off. I couldn't say what color the base fiberglass was, but it would bleach out and dust up. With that said, I like the effort and results.
There seems to be a weird rendering artifact on the driver's side that looks like a series of stripes. Was that intentional?
Also, your driver is neglecting their tire pressure.
I had a neighbour who had one of these in his front garden about 20 years ago just literally falling apart. Even in its bad state it still looked like nothing else out there...looks like the only way we're gonna preserve vehicles like this from the past is to model them in blender ....
