Hüseyin Demirtaş shares this amazing render. Rendered in only 10 seconds? Insane :)
I'm thinking this might actually be a nice 'thing' to do: share your best Eevee image that was rendered in under 10 seconds in the comments! Be sure to include your hardware specs for a more fair comparison).
Rendered on eevee... 4K light and shadow map 64 sampling, rendered on 10sec. Used 1050Ti

wow! just beautiful! Can't wait for 2.8:)
I have a doubt. Is Eevee intended to replace Cycles? What will the upcoming Blender foundation movies be rendered in?
eevee won't replace cycles. rather it will use openGL render mode and eventually replace blender internal/blender render.
cycles will still be around and will likely still be used for most blender foundation movies.
cycles gives better more accurate results for certain things that eevee just can't do but those better results come with a lot of rendering time and a need for better hardware.
eevee was originally meant to be a new viewport mode to use while you work to give a better working preview of what your cycles render will look like so it was intended to be used with cycles.
it renders more like a modern game engine though so while it's fast it's not as accurate as cycles, isn't as good at rendering certain things (hair, bounce light, ect). some of these things are faked in eevee to save render times and do still look pretty good but in the end still don't look as good and obviously aren't as accurate as an actual cycles render.
a lot of us average users will find that using eevee to render our animations is likely a better option for us since we can still get quite nice looking results but without HUGE render times if we're willing to use alternative methods to make some of the stuff that eevee doesn't do all that well (hair most specifically i think)
Nice one!

I'd love to see the video, or larger image resolution.
It's not said enough, but the Blender dev team are pretty awesome.
