Hi everyone. It's time to come in from the cold and join us for the 2nd Stockholm Blender User Group on the 1 March 2018.

Again, what is the Stockholm Blender User Group, and why should I go?

Well, it's a free gathering of like-minded people, getting together to show, learn and share experiences related to Blender.

What is the agenda at this event?

Doors open at 18:00 for mingle, beverages and light food from our generous sponsors Earth People, allowing people to get acquainted with each other.

Around 18:30 we kick off the evening with a quick Q&A, finding out what and where people use Blender before moving on to;

18:45 – Thibaut Bourbon will give a presentation “Visualisation of scientific simulation data” - (or how to make science stuff look sexy in Cycles).

Interval and quick break

19:30 – Per “Stuffmatic” Gantelius talks about his classic artwork ‘Slussen – Plan C’ and also his BLAM! Addon, for camera calibration.

Open Mic Night? - Yes, your chance to shine!

Following on from our guest speakers, we will open the floor to anyone who wishes to say a few words about a project or experience they have had with Blender. No matter how basic or advanced, this is in the true nature of the BUGS, your chance to own the group and talk about anything you wish (as long as it’s Blender related :)

Note: This can be a hands-on demo or slideshow and talk, but please keep it to a maximum of around 5 mins. We also ask, if you are planning to do a presentation to notify us first by message to the meetup page your name, and a brief outline of what you wish to present.

We will wrap up the evening around 20:30-21:00.

Important to know
Whilst this event is free of charge, we have a max capacity of 50 people, so please RSVP to the event to give us an idea of numbers in advance. Please be punctual as we will close the doors after 18:30.
