I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Been using 3.0 since alpha and the way the engine grows is amazing. Nice to see so many open-source projects like Blender, Godot and Krita growing this much. It's valid to mention that the Godot team is using EEVEE as reference for their PBR engine so Blender users can match the assets look in both softwares without effort.

    • As a bit of heads-up: The download link on this page sends you to the Mac OS X download page.

There's no general "Downloads" page, so that's why this one's the Mac version's URL.

      Not a problem, though.

Just change the tab over to Windows or Linux, if you're using such.

Oh, and thanks for the news update, Bart!
