The Godot team has released an impressive update of their open source game engine.
After more than 18 months of development, all Godot Engine contributors are proud to present our biggest release so far, Godot 3.0! It brings a brand new rendering engine with state-of-the-art PBR workflow for 3D, an improved assets pipeline, GDNative to load native code as plugins, C# 7.0 support, Bullet as the 3D physics engine, and many other features which are described in depth below.
Impatient users can put an end to 18 months of waiting by jumping directly to our Download page and start playing with Godot 3.0!

Been using 3.0 since alpha and the way the engine grows is amazing. Nice to see so many open-source projects like Blender, Godot and Krita growing this much. It's valid to mention that the Godot team is using EEVEE as reference for their PBR engine so Blender users can match the assets look in both softwares without effort.

As a bit of heads-up: The download link on this page sends you to the Mac OS X download page.
There's no general "Downloads" page, so that's why this one's the Mac version's URL.
Not a problem, though.
Just change the tab over to Windows or Linux, if you're using such.

I've updated the link, hadn't noticed it had /osx added. I think it will automatically detect your platform now?

Sounds amazing, will definitely consider this engine for a game project, especially if the HTML5 export works nicely in this version!
