Making Sense of the 3d Production Pipeline

2

Brandon Hix writes:

When you're just starting out with Blender, or 3d graphics altogether, it can be difficult to understand how all the pieces fit together. Being bombarded with a constant wave of information it can be hard to decipher how basic processes like modeling, shading, lighting, animation, and rendering all flow together in a pipeline. So I put together a breakdown of each of these main steps in the 3d production pipeline inside Blender so you can get a "big picture" idea on how the pipeline works and how you can start to build up and strengthen your own workflow at home.

  1. Thanks... a very nice, clean overall presentation of Blender and 3d processes without taking someone new into uncharted territory. They can pick up on the definitions and details as they learn each area or area they chose.

I'm sure this can be said in many ways, and you have done a very nice job in your way of saying it.

Glad you put this together. A great place to send people who are reluctant to look at the 3D process. very informative.

    • Thanks so much, I'm hoping it helps and inspires people who are just starting out to keep trying and that big things are possible!
