1

A very cool psychedelic video by three students of the Parisian 'Arts and Image Technologies' department of the Paris 8 University..

Hello I am happy to share this short film. We made this film in three weeks at A.T.I. (Arts and Image Technologies, Paris 8 University).

I hope you enjoy. :)

Bérénice Antoine
Clément Ducarteron
Gaël Labousse

Synopsis:

Canyon is the name given to the place where numerous drugs are taken, like Crack. Those three vegetal, animal and mineral psychotropic drugs share the same location in the Sonoran Desert, near the Mexico-United States border.

This installation is an introspective discovery into a microscopic universe. Three aesthetics visions of different psychotropic drugs are brought face to face as a numerical triptych. Shapes, motions, structures, materials and sounds to witness a mise en abyme of a metaphysical journey.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
