BlenchMark add-on 1.0.4 is available

9

The latest BlenchMark release adds multiple GPU support, version checking and detects the Auto Tile add-on.

Mark van Dijk writes:

The new version has 3 new features.

The first feature is multiple gpu support. The addon knows how to handle multiple gpu's and shows this in the results. The benchmark will only work if the selected gpu's are the same.

The second feature is coexistence with the Auto Tile Size add-on. When you load the benchmark scene, the add-on warns you about the active Auto Tile Size add-on en will disable it when you proceed. When you activate the Auto Tile Size add-on within the benchmark scene you won't be able to benchmark. When you disable it again, the tile size will be reset as soon as the benchmark starts.

The third feature is that the add-on has version control. It checks online for the current addon version and compares is to its own version. You will receive a warning and you won't be able to benchmark if the versions doesn't match.

Another thing is that the website has moved to its own domain: blenchmark.com. The old website will remain active untill the next update.

Yesterday we reached the 1000 benchmarks! Thank you all for support, suggestions and feedback.

Happy Benchmarking!
Mark

P.S. The addon is not extensively tested. Please report issues on the BA forum or on the Blenchmark website. Thanks in advance!

  1. I absolutely love this application. The new version is much more polished. Well done Mark. I immediately benchmarked CPU/GPU on both desktop and notebook, it would be nice to see results on your site grouped by my name
