BollyFighters, a retro video game animation

1

Vikrant Jadhav created a tribute to those fighting games you found in arcades in the nineties.

This is a 60 FPS sprite animation made using only Blender and GIMP. GIMP was used in creating sprites and background assets, Blender was used for background 3D modeling, texturing. Cycles is really useful as it's nodes help switch sprites easily along with the motion blur and depth of field. Scanlines used to mimick an old tv and the color bleeding was made in the compositor. Here is the compositor node setup . For removing noise,I rendered image into passes and used this technique  found in the blender manual for diffuse passes. Thank you for watching.
