This one may not be for most Blender users, but if you use Maya in your pipeline this may be useful: Luca Scheller explains how to use Blender's hair tools and export them to Maya.
Here is a quick tutorial on how to make hair in Blender and export it into Maya. I think Blender offers simple and artist friendly hair creation / combing tools so that’s why I prefer it over Maya where you have to model the hair curves manually when creating the main guide hairs. This tutorial is aimed at Maya users who have no to limited knowledge about Blender.

It would be great to have more tutorials like these. For the self employed artists who are making 3D models and selling them on stock websites, having more tutorials showing how to convert some trickier elements of 3D models from Blender to other applications would be great!
I think it's also helpful as a marketing tool for Blender, production environments do buy stock 3D models, and having some high quality models available in 3D Max and Maya formats with "Made in Blender" on them would be a great 'advertisement' of sorts for Blender and it's capabilities.
I will definitely
try to make more tutorials on how to manage the interaction between blender and
other 3d software packages.

Unfortunately, the video is private. Really need a way to bring in Blender hair particles to Maya
