Jonas by Gaël Labousse & Clément Ducarteron

Art and generative Design as we know them today are the result of many discoveries. So much in terms of technologies (such primitive as they may be), technical advances or philosophical thoughts. They are the results of an amalgam of ideas and tools developed and governed by different historical or more anonymous protagonists. These concepts often arise and emerge from the observation of a benign object, the delight of a superficial moment or the analysis of a group of varied elements. This short film pays tribute to the time T when these people have directly or indirectly caused the contemporary medium.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
