Baketool 1.2 adds Blender Internal render support
The most recent update of BakeTool adds support for the BI renderer.

It might be the second best cage baking solution after 3ds Max (even though Blender is still lacking Normal map antialiasing), because you can create separate baking “sets” if you split your low-poly mesh for baking. But there are issues with Blender 2.71 and 2.72 RC (both Cycles) making it much less usable for hard-surface baking. Her it is:
1. No cage used even when the cage mesh is directly selected in the addon UI;
2. No way to output baked images with alpha channel;
3. Bake size is limited to 4080. Not 4096 (4K) but 4080. Seriously?
We use Blender in our studio for production and I’ll be the first to promote the addon if these issues are fixed as soon as possible.
