The 2.71 series are crashing for me when I want to use Cycles + OSL. Latest stable is working well.
That sounds worthy of a bug report
There's something strange with 2.71. Last week I was exporting objects with 1.5 to 1.8 million vertices just fine. This week, it struggles with 125 thousand vertices. Other than a basic cube with 330,000 vertices I successfully exported, it does not export anything bigger than 126,000 vertices, and if using just a cube, 300 thousand something vertices seems to be the limit. Was there an automatic update that went wrong? Is there someplace I can upload my .blend so that the Blender staff can review why there is an error?
