I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Gleb, you resourceful guy, you. I use the Screw modifier for lathing curve profiles, but it's something I tend to forgot about at times. I also never thought to use the Wireframe Modifier for a wicker basket effect. Nice.

    • Wicker basket was a surprise for me also. While not a perfect representation of such effect, can be useful from time to time.

thanks for the video, but i can't play it for some problems in the internet, and as i see in the picture, it's like the "lathe" modifier in 3ds max, right?
