An incredibly photorealistic image by swmo with a great hidden compositing element. Can you spot it?

Summer isn't too far away (in my hemisphere anyway), so here is my latest project. I'm trying to push myself with my renders - it's the first time I've had two characters interacting. Please let me know what you think.

This has been up for a few weeks... still a good image!
Need study done on ratio of male:female models built in Blender. About 6:1, I'll guess. Now, won't even have boy kiss girl.
Strange because actual Blender users are at least that much in opposite direction in real world.
Interesting that white people having many more girl babies than boy babies. Perhaps that's connected somehow.
Composition is right on point.
Great image! Love it! It captures the moment in a great way. The modeling, the lighting and the compositing are reeeally well done :) Congrats!
I can see a heart in the comp. Pretty clever! Great image too!
Björk, someone?

Amazing!
I sincerely thought this was a real image when I first saw it. This is very possibly the most realistic image made in Blender that I have seen.
Agreed.. This just raised the bar.. By allot.. :)
Great work... the eye-brows, for me, are the only major thing that didn't look quite right... well, the girl with the bracelet (on the right), her skin looked a little plastic, even in the first (human) image.
Now we 'just' (!) need these characters animated into a short film, immersed in a city filled with lots of those fantastic architecture renders seen here on BlenderNation. Then the Blender Foundation would have a truly ground-breaking movie to show the world, because it would be something that the big studios dare not do.
two chicks kissing...nice can you make an image where they make the scissors ?
It looks very realistic. Congratulations! I agry with timmyelliot the eyebrows need more your attention.
Very good, indeed! Congratulations!
To be fair, this image gets around (albeit creatively) the issue that I think people have the hardest time with in photorealism- eyes. I think the hair strands are also too thick.
Great image, I just don't know if it's deserving of "most realistic image made in Blender".
I guess I'm the only one that doesn't think this looks realistic. Maybe it's the skin, but I can tell these are CG characters.
This is the kind of photo-realism I strive for. More please.
What's missing is the redness in the skin. That's why it looks a bit like plastic.
Still, a great image.
I thought this was a real image when I first saw it, but then my attention got the eye area, needs more work on brows and lashes. great job.
