ted-ed animation

This short video from TED-ed shows some basic animation elements.

"Expert timing and spacing is what separates a slide show from a truly amazing animation. TED-Ed demonstrates, by manipulating various bouncing balls, how the smallest adjustments from frame to frame can make all the difference."

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. There is a LOT of work out there that could greatly benefit from this. I see lots of animation with great visuals that gets lost in the pile from poor animation and unfortunately poor story lines. Good job with this. Keep this sort of thing coming!!
