This last weekend I felt inspired by the Global Game Jam competition and tried to make an entire animation from scratch in a weekend. I didn't make it in time. It took me about 4 days to finish it (plus render). But I think it's a good time for a team of one. It was completely done in Blender, including editing.
I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
