Ton Roosendaal just announced the studios that will be participating in project Gooseberry, the Blender Institute's most ambitious project yet. 13 studios around the world (including the Blender Institute) will be collaborating on a feature-length Blender film.
The project now also has its own Twitter account: @Gooseberry_film.
Ton writes:
When Gooseberry was announced, the shortlist of possible studio partners quickly grew to over 30… it’s really great to see so many companies using Blender and be ready for film. We would love to work with all of them, but that’s just not practical for a feature film. The original idea to involve “8-10″ studios now already became 12.
You'll find the full list of studios on the Gooseberry blog. Congratulations everyone! We'll be following your adventure closely :)
