Mark Bieber is working on a tornado simulator in Blender. Watch the current state of his work.
Mark writes:
When I'm not busy making Blender tutorials, I like to spend my time working on my natural disaster simulators. Here's an example video of my tornado simulator that I'm working on within the game engine.
With time, I hope to help educate the public about how to stay safe from tornadoes and other natural disasters.

Nice simulation!
Thanks kindly!
I have been dreaming of doing this for many years now. I have had many failed attempts at this. :D This is a very interesting project and I would like to see what comes of it.
Yeah, I saw this a while back but forgot all about it. Thanks for reminding me to keep an eye on it again!
I was expecting the tornado to jump at the viewer at end of the video.
That would have been a nice dramatic finish.
Maybe next time :)

@Mark Bieber. Have you ever try to get some help at kickstarter?
I tried once with my math-based storybooks but they didn't post it. Maybe it's time to try again with this project. I'm interested in making science based action adventures, so you end up learning some cool math and science along the way. In this case, it would be the art and science of storm chasing in a fast-action packed sci-fi adventure. I'm still assessing the performance capabilities and if it's adequate, then I'd have to think of the incentives that would motivate funding of the project. You've got me thinking about it. Thanks much.
