I don't understand your reply. It seems that humans have some many restrictions as the Bible says:
God had baby Jesus without intercourse with Mary !!!!!!!!
That's why the bible was written by humans no GOD !, We are the ones creating the TABU !

bible has nothing to do with it. Actually the defensiveness and obvious
attempt at a jab back at ones personal beliefs, although unrelated to
your original comment, is a gross portrayal of the lack of maturity.

The biggest issue (and the one that I removed) was with your religious comparison. But yeah the pee comment was childish, I agree with the others.
It is not about childish comment, it is about the pose that is incorrect. Try yourself that position, your hand will rest closer to your thigh, (no that low !).
There is a curvature on his wrist that shows some muscle strain in his forearm, the counterpart of his hand faces totally to the front ( Totally incorrect ), so he looks like he is trying to re-accommodate his "testicles" or unzipping or scratching that area..
It does not look like a resting position..
Notice that I am using the right words, hope anyone gets offended for that. In art, you must be very precise painting hands around genital areas.I guess many here understand what I mean, put a mirror in front of you and do some tests.

I don't get it either. I mean the idea to make Blender headlines a collection of random images. The image is quite good (although I don't see the point of having a duplicated character), but I don't see how that relates to 'Blender news'.
I think Bart just liked the picture and wanted to give the artist recognition. Yes there are flaws, like the cycles( or whatever renderer used) noise, but it is a nice stylized picture and without community spotlight it might get lost. Think of that what you will, but having a constantly updating repository of even just stills is good for Blender. The devs have better things to do then update the gallery on the main site on top of looking for the images themselves. If you look at the Luxology(modo) website you will see that they have a massive user created gallery picked by the moderators. This cataloging is both good for Blender and for us to admire.

That includes development, education, community and definitely art as well. It's fine if you don't agree with that, but please stop complaining about it every time I post an image.
OK, message taken. I only saw that someone else shared my sentiment, so I responded to that. The first time I mentioned this, I asked the question "What do the others think?". I didn't expect to be just silenced by you.
But I won't raise this issue any more, if that's just the way things are.
Oh, I'm not trying to shut you up if you think I choose lousy artwork :) By all means, do let me know (or even better: help me find better artwork ;-). But just hearing the message 'I don't think that artwork belongs on BN' was a bit irritating ;-)
I just had this idea that maybe Blender Nation could change its profile a bit from "all that's somehow related to Blender" to proper "Blender news". I mean as Blender is developing and becoming more popular, there is a lot more stuff to show. In terms of sheer quantity to my mind the site is becoming a bit overloaded (I can hardly keep up :). And then most of it I have to quickly discard because it's not something that makes "news" to me. I know it's subjective, maybe that's what people want, maybe they have more time, but I just wanted to express my view. Although I admit the way I did it perhaps wasn't the best....

Hey guys, just to let you know I've removed this duplicate comment and left a warning for him in another part of this thread. He's had warnings in the past, my patience is starting to run out ;-)
as a suggestion. how about seperating images from the rest of the posts? like a section just for images that are hosted? Then it wont be a headline, but an inspiration, and its still there for those who believe images can make headlines ;D
personally i like coming here and seeing images that are good. It inspires me to work on my own things more often. Without BN i wouldve burned out long ago.. Thanks Bart!
