Nikhil uploaded a double tutorial covering softbodies in Blender and how to render it with Cycles.
The topics he covers are:
- How to Setup Cloth Parameters for a squishy Ball
- Texturing / Shading using Node Editor
- Rendering the scene with Blenders CYCLES path tracer render engine.

what?
he means :O ;)
semicolon right-paren.
Why did they use cloth instead of softbody (as the title suggests)?
it is not a softbody tutorial .. there must be a typo during writing a tittle ..
reason for doing this with cloth is because softbody have tons of parameters to tweak for this effect.. comparatively Cloth does a trick with lesser parameters ..

I see now what you mean. With softbody in the title it only refers to the soft object not the softbody modifier.
Conflicting indeed. I will change it to softobjects.
softbody or cloth.. it looks damn cool :)
Yeah, the new title is much better... flexible balls.
Your final render is incredible. I enjoy seeing the possibilities of this new render engine. Well done.
I agree the render quality is great. But the actual physics of the interaction of objects doesn't look very realistic to me.
Always wondered what the "Bake all dynamics" button was for *facepalm* I guess I am not as curious as I once thought lol
