Time-Less

12

Time-Less is an interactive installation created by Sébastien Samyn and Jordan Caprasse, as their Graduation project from the Academy of Fine Art Tournai. The installation is a point and click style adventure, using a clock to interact, where you must find hidden symbols within the game. The installation was made using blender, processing, and arduino. The soundtrack was composed by Guido Mariano and Vincent Samandari.

  1. I love the visual work ; very RPG and the cat is really cute. Btw, I didn't understand very well the gameplay with the clock controler in this video.

  2. I think instalation (its a french word used in a different meaning that the english word) means the interface used to control the game. If i understood correctly, instead of using a mouse to interact with onscreen objects, you use this clock machine.

    maybe...

  3. i think its like those video games in arcade shops, the physical part is the installation and you use the clock as interface(like the mouse on a pc), then there is a screen displaying the game.

  4. @Chrome Monkey an "installation" is an art exhibition that uses the site that the art is located at as a part of the artwork (generally).

  5. beautiful! yeah, hard for me too to understand how it's working from the video, but it looks quite nice ) wish it was close enough for me to play.

  6. I'd love to see the clock-interface in direct comparison to what actually happens.
Seems like a really interesting and well executed project. :)

  7. Wow, all the things you can do.. :)
To all that wonder how the interface works, if you look closely at 2:15 a small symbol appears on the box.
It seems there are symbols on items on the screen, and you select corresponding ones from the clock.
    (I hope I was clear enough :P)
