It's been a while coming, but Adelaide (South Australia) has a Blender user meeting approaching! This Wednesday 13th July, 6pm at Monkeystack (more details in the full post). There will be a windows machine set up with a big screen TV/projector. So you can bring stuff along to show off. The plan is for the meeting to be cycles themed, but you can bring along anything you want to share. Also there will be free pizza!

If you know the KBox Karaoke and the KFC on the middle of Hindley Street - the door is sandwiched between the two and the office is up the stairs. There will be a Windows machine setup with either a large monitor/tv or a projector, so if you have something you would like to share, please bring it along. The new Cycles renderer will be somewhat of a theme, but feel free to bring in work or demo reels if you are game - anything Blender related is welcome! Recent builds will be provided but we don't have Mac or Linux machines in the office, so we obviously can't display anything requiring those OS's.
Pizza is provided free for the first meet! We can discuss on the night about future meetings and whether we charge a bit for food or hold it at a different time so people can eat first, etc.
If you could reply in the Blenderartists.org thread so I can get a better idea of numbers that would be great. Also any questions you've got, by all means fire away.

See you there! Finally, another Adelaide event!
Nice one, @Ben! I hope it goes well.
@Dingo, you should start one yourself, if no one else is doing it! Feel free to contact me if you want some tips - [email protected]. I recently hosted the Melbourne Blender Society meeting.
