Blender Podcast With Colin Levy

6

Thomas Dinges and Campbell Barton have started up a Blender Podcast (audio), where they talk about blender, including development, interviews and news. For their second podcast they have an interview with Colin Levy about his work on Sintel and his other projects, as well as his upcoming job at Pixar.

The show is still in it's infancy, so take a listen and let them know what you want to hear from the show in future.

  1. I love podcasts!

And especially this one, because it's really interesting to hear Colin talk about things behind the curtain and what else he is busy with.
And it was good to hear the voices of Thomas and Campbell, guys I already heard so much about, hehe.

Well, Blender is an amazing software, but this is only the case because of the persons behind, which do incredible programming, helping in managing the overall development process, and using it in such an outstanding way like Sintel was done.

Keep up the good work everybody.

    *thumbsup*

  2. Failed Artists be damned!
3D needs all the skills we possess. I'm an artist, but can't code worth a damn.
I wish I could, but I'm REALLY happy for guys like you Thomas and Campbell, for giving us a far friendlier Blender. I love working in 2.5 now.
I think the single coolest thing about 3D animation is that without damn fine artists AND mathematician coders, businessmen and writers, riggers, geeks, nerds, party animals, actors and managers the whole operation would be impossible.
I really envy you brilliant coders, that's absolutely an art in itself.

  3. tyrant monkey on
