(Tip: skip the pompous/non-Blender intro and move to 1:00 ;-)

Almost 2 years after the mammoth's creation it is finally coming to life. Three of the most talented and famous Blenderartists will resurrect that beast in the Massive Mammoth Masterclass, starting with Nathan Vegdahl, the lead rigger of the Blender Foundation's Open Movies Sintel and Big Buck Bunny, who will show you how to rig and weight the mammoth.
The Massive Mammoth Masterclass starts with a quadruped rigging tutorial by Nathan Vegdahl. With over 6 hours of material you will learn the secrets of perfect weighting, efficient control rigs and shape keys. This is the perfect foundation for the upcoming sequels of this tutorial series, which will cover animation and scene-setup.
Because of the sheer length and amount of information this tutorial is split into 2 parts. The first part will cover some essential rigging concepts, the setup of the deformation armature and creating an animator-friendly control rig with custom bone shapes. The second part of this tutorial covers weighting, corrective shape keys and non-corrective shape keys. That way if you are only interested in the bone setup and controls, you can just watch part 1 of this tutorial, and if you are only interested the weighting process, you can watch only part 2. But if you want to learn the whole thing, get the bundle and watch both!
Both videos are only available as on-line streaming video, and cost $39.95 each.

Wow. That beginning is pompous and way overdone. :) Looks like a decent tutorial series though.
Yes! Go Nathan! I think I might buy this one.
Oh, it's a literal mammoth masterclass. I get it...
where is the original series on modeling and texturing the mammoth? this looks really awesome!
Only an online streaming video? I'll pass, that is not workable for me. I do work on locations where an internetconnection isn't available or are just pretty bad. Can't make this downloadable ones?
@JW: Firefox has some add-ons which allow you to download video content, also the cmiVFX videos. So, yes, if you need to download them, it's possible. (BTW, the streaming doesn't seem too reliable anyways, so it might be better/easier to download it anyways).
Is the intro just pompous because it's non blender?
I should add that while the videos cost 39.95$ each when you purchase them separately the bundle is 59.95$, so you save 20 bucks.
And about download:
It's HMTL5, so it's getting loaded to your disk anyway.
Check out the Firefox-Addon DownThemAll.
That works great for downloading: https://img.skitch.com/20110605-ted34wgi4dmjr4q551qku534er.png
@ben: here's the modeling tutorial. Keep in mind that it's 2.49 still.
Cheers!
@sebastian - where's the link to the modeling tut? I don't see it..
That's one badass intro you got there
Hello. Was the Intro completely done in Blender?
