  1. I bought this book and found it very useful. It really goes into great detail for creating very realistic looking scenes. Thanks Colin for this wonderful addition to the Blender Library!

  2. I do not see any rules about textures.

The winner will be picked before seeing the polygons?

This contest seems to beg us to find or render an awesome image and paste it on a single polygon.

So is this what the book will teach us to do?

  3. @ James
i dont believe so, because you can actually win, without seeing the faces, and if you have gone over, then you will not win, also, I do believe there will be a rule against that (as thats a given, because then its not 'Created" in blender, it just is an image render, so I doubt you could win like that

Check out my entry, 466 faces, and it features a well

    its called A lone well

and yeah it seems a little dark, but wouldnt any sunset picture be?

  4. I bought the book and was quite disappointed about the fact that all images are in black & white.
A book about textures without color images is really nonsense.
The books from Packt I own (about ArchiViz with Blender and "Incredible Machines") were of the same poor quality.

  5. Excellent beat ! I wish to apprentice at the same time as you amend your web site, how can i subscribe for a blog website? The account aided me a appropriate deal. I have been a little bit familiar of this your broadcast offered shiny transparent idea
