where is the link to the pdf of the book so i can read it offline?
i can find a link to the game kit 1 pdf so where is the one for 2?
O ic its bart putting his loi marketing course into practise. :P
Marimba, The UI of Blender 2.5 is significantly different from Blender 2.48 and 2.49, but if you know both then there will be no problem in applying what you have learned from this book to Blender 2.5. I have to warn you though, the code used in this book is for Python 2.6, so it won't work directly in Blender 2.5 without some modifications.
By the way, I already bought the book a long time ago :)
@bart, @ysvry: as alrady did with 2.49 wiki manual, i did a pdf also from wiki gamekit2 pages.
i'm waiting to see if i can publish it on http://pdf.letworyinteractive.com/ too, otherwise i will put it somwhere, probably on archive.org.

Amazing, a great 3DMagix extension set.
@joeri67: excuse me while I LOL a little over that comment ;-)

@ysvry: they didn't release a PDF as far as I know. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Then again, this being such a great open source/content community, I'm sure you can find some spare time to build us that PDF version, right? ;-)
Cool. I'll check it out. Thanks!
YAY open source books!!! i luv free stuff
@ysvry Your answer is wget. lol
wget + conversion to and upload as pdf would be nicer to the community and the wiki bandwidth.
;)
The free release of this book is a little late, imo. All the hip kids are using Blender 2.5 by now.
Question: Is the game engine in 2.5 any different than in 2.48?
Also remember to buy a copy of the book to support the blender foundation.

Have fun, Marco
