A quick report from the Seattle Blender User Group meeting last Saturday.
Oscar writes:
On December 5th, Prophetic Sky Inc. and The Art Institute of Seattle hosted the second SeaBUG. Blender users from throughout the Pacific Northwest once again packed the classroom to the gills and shared a number of tutorials, project presentations and general good spirits around the glow of computer monitors.
The next SeaBUG is already planned for February 6th, 2010. Art Institute student and faculty are still welcome to walk in at their liesure, but otherwise please RSVP at seabug.eventbrite.com. If you have requests for tutorials, please speak up! The SeaBUG crowd will most likely be able to nail down an expert user who can drop some knowledge on your most troubling subjects. And, as always, we greatly encourage people to showcase their many projects. If you are in the Oregon area, contact the magnificent Phil "Pappy" Leavens (of dothelp.net) who may generously be available for carpooling next SeaBUG.
Oscar Baechler, SeaBUG's emcee, has set up a Google site so that SeaBUG ninjas can discuss ideas for short film collaborating. The goal is to have fleshed-out, presentation-worthy pitches by next SeaBUG. If any SeaBUG regulars would like to join in on the collaboration, email [email protected].
Lastly, someone left a USB thumb drive at the last Seabug. If this is you, contact Oscar.
See you in February!
