Hi!
I’m happy to announce that Blender++ 1.2 has been released! For those who don’t know what Blender++ is, please just check it out here.

Even if people claimed that Blender 2.5 will have a NetRender, Blender++ is different. It provides an open interface to the Blender internal that can be accessed by any application supports socket connections giving the chance to the user to submit, stop or check the status of the render on a single machine. Try it out yourself to understand what I mean :)

What has been added in version 1.2 is:

  • Queue support
  • Baked simulations render support
  • Threads to use option
  • Command line accessibility
  • Bug fixes

Blender++ can be downloaded from Sourceforge and it’s available for Windows, OSX and Linux or better every OS supports Python 2.6 and wxPython 2.8.2
