This seems to be the season of Blender Conferences! Today: Germany.

I am happy to announce the first German Blender conference, BlenderDay/09, in Eislingen/Fils, Baden Württemberg.
The 2 day event will take place on the 18./19. July. We are looking forward to great presentations and workshops from German speaking Blender artists and are really happy to make this event possible. We are also interested in more presentations and workshops. Visit www.blenderday.de for more information and get your ticket. See you at BlenderDay/09! :)
Tickets including 2 lunches and two dinners are €35. Tickets including a stay in a youth hostel (and meals) are €55.

JEAH! this is gonna be awesome :D
Auf ner Karte is das ja praktisch ganz unten ;)
Vielleicht sollten wir in Hamburg selber was machen?
35 and 55 euri is ein ganz gutte preiz whats on the menu bratwust?
Keine Bratwurst ;-)
That'll be such an amazing event...
I don't have an issue with messages in other languages, although it's always polite for the rest of the community to include an English translation.
Messages in languages that I can't read will be sent straight to spam nirvana because I can't check if they're genuine or not, so you're taking a gamble if you write in anything other than English, Dutch and German ;-)
Cheers,
Bart
@Bart:
No prob :D Have you understood it well? Kein problem ! Hast du das gut verstanden?
This is what I exactly have said (it was more meant to practise my German, not quite serious though...) - fast translation:
"I'd like to say something in German: it's very annoying that all people here are talking German! Don't you know this is an English blog at all? :) Despite pizza or spaghetti and lentils with spätzle and 'saite' (?) taste good, would I like to have some bratwurst, right? You always don't have bratwurst for me... xD and I even think bratwurst is the best food of Germany! Well then, I have to adjust myself..."
And Marcus reacted (German isn't my native language, but Dutch, and I think they have a great relationship):
"Sure it's an English blog, but nobody who doesn't talk German will open this thread, read it or visit the conference. In any case the available food there is not important for me."
I guess you have heard about Google translate too, despite it translates not very precisely, you can guess roughly what the text is about.
Here are some fast translations (I like practising German):
knekke -> and I thought recently why there was no Blender day in Germany.
Unfortunately it's in Hamburger, too far away from me.. damn :/
However, enjoy it/have fun!
Wii -> ... it's a pity ... for me it's also a little too far...
Anyway, I wish much fun to the participants!
Blendipel -> Super thing (event)!
And it seems too, there will take place some recitations - at any rate, travelling some time will be worth it...
Of course I'll be there :)
jonaspas -> Yes, it's a good thing, but it's a pity, it won't happen in Hamburg ;)
# testscreenings -> I'd prefer Hamburg either :)
On the map that's located quite useful: totally at the bottom ;)
Do we have to do sometimes in Hamburg something ourselves? (WTF?)
At any rate much fun to everyone who'll be there.
ysvry -> 35 and 55 euro is surely a good price, what's on the menu bratwust?
DingTo -> we have planned pizza, or spaghetti and lentils with spätzle and 'saite' (?)
No bratwurst ;-)
Erl -> that's also for me a little too far to Dresdner (?)
I just hope some parts of the presentations will be accessible online.
I too prefer Hamburg. Maybe we need at least two conferences: one in the south and one in the north of Germany.
Correction in Marcus' translation :
"In any case the available food there is not important for me" should be "Good food or not, I'll take part in the conference!" or "In any case I'll take part, the food is is indifferent to me".
NO BRATWURST ! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! THAT'S TERRIBLE!
1) Bratwursten FTW!
2) Your bratwurst or your life!
3) Bratwurst, I can't live without you... you're part of my life...
4) The 'bratwursten' are taking over the world!
5) "BRATWURST" is just F'ing magick!
6) BRATWURST RULES!
SO NO "BRATWURSTEN" IS TRAGIC, IT'S A DRAMA!
