Dimitris Christou has recently posted a bunch of new video tutorials on Vimeo which are worth checking out. They cover a large range of different topics, from basics in the game engine to modeling a gun.
The tutorials are on Dimitris's Vimeo page. You can also view and take part in the discussion thread over at Blenderartists.org, so if there's any questions that's the place to go with them!
The ten video tutorials cover the following topics:
- Snapping
- The Basics of the Sequence Editor
- StudioSpot (lighting setup)
- The UV unwrapping of a coin
- IPO with the Game Engine (2 videos)
- Game Engine properties
- Modeling a Gun (2 videos)
- A Dice game
The videos are also free to download from Vimeo, directly from the individual video pages (you have to be a Vimeo member for this option).
There's a couple of demo reels on the page as well, which are certainly good viewing and worth cheking out (although I've read that the demo reels were made mostly using Cinema 4D).

Neat, will look into them. Must expand my blendering skills.
Great, modeling the gun could be neat, more GE info is good as well... may check into this later.
Looks like I'll sign-up for Vimeo if only to just download the videos. ;D
thanks for posting this!
@banor - "Modeling a Gun" - nothing special.
It is actually about modeling a LP (low-poly) gun; so... yes no detail. Glad to see my videotutorials seen (and downloaded) by so many fellow Blender lovers. You'll find tons of gr8 Blender videotutorials at Vimeo; it is definitely worth signing up.
Dimitris Christou,
Thanks for making these excellent tutorials. I really enjoyed watching them and learned a lot! You are a good teacher.
The begginers can be happy cause these tutorials are for them I guess. By the way - one of the most irritating, nasal voice I ever heard.
Nice tutorials. I think you have a lovely voice. I especially liked the game properties tut. It's the clearest explanation I've heard.
Thanks,
Pam
Excellent tutorials, very comprehensive material. I would like to see more tutorials soon!,
especially game engine related.
You can download them all (plus two more videotutorials): http://www.gigasize.com/get.php?d=16np0d4l01b
Thank you!
Dimitris C.
Seems they're all deleted now!?? Any idea where else they might be?
