A surrealistic image - by xelptic

Banor wrote:

On the BlenderArists.org forum I came across this surrealistic piece of artwork by xelptic. The creature has good modeling (see a wireframe image of the creature,) and the image as a whole has strange appeal. It is good to see artwork in this genre made with Blender! (Blender, Indigo, and Photoshop were used to create this picture.) Good job, xelptic! Read the thread on BlenderAritsts.

sagedread  wrote:

This is a video tutorial in which walks you through step-by-step how to setup and program a constrained mouselook script. What i mean by constrained is that Ive been getting a lot of requests on how to make a mouselook script that doesn't rotate up all the way around resulting in a much more realistic fps game setup. Blender tutorial in Dutch C't magazine

Johan van Dijck wrote:

I bought this months' issue of the Dutch C't magazine and found that it contains a 2-part Blender tutorial in which a bird is being modelled. Thought you might want to know ;). Also the winning picture in this months' 3d World gallery was made with Blender.

Blender-made Corporate Promo
Craig Stone wrote:

I wanted to share my most recently completed project with any who would be interested in seeing another example of Blender being used in a professional context. There are many details pertaining to the production of this five minute clip which are mentioned on my webpage, so I won't repeat them here. I'll only mention those things which I think might be of particular interest to my fellow blenderheads. Almost all of the visual material was created and composited using the SVN version of Blender. Other tools used include The Gimp, Inkscape, Ardour, Audacity. Link.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
