The Apricot team have posted some SWEET new screenshots on their blog.
They write:
Here are early screenshots of our graphics prototype. This will be the testing ground for experimenting with visual effects, lighting, and style as we move on with more game content. Expect huge improvements down the line as we nail down the style of the graphics and finish implementing all of the different technologies for Crystal Space.
Huge improvements eh? Excellent :) Check it out.

That looks great! I hope the gameplay is fun and interesting as well.
That looks so cool!
When it hits the mailbox, it seems like, the game won't go immediately to my nephews :)
looking good, i just cant understand why, this doesn't get as much support, as the earlier projects,
sure its not a movie project, sure they use crystal space, but so what?
I say this project is worth of support already for the one fact that theres two different foss projects collaborating here alone, plus both of them get plenty of upgrading trough this! :)
that looks realy fres, how is the frame rate at this level?
@Felix_Kütt: I think it's more because most are waiting for the end of Peach before supporting Apricot... But I agree, Apricot should be advertised more...
I think more support will come when we see what the improvements will be more specifically for blender. Right now I see the cool graphics but how much of it involves crystal space.. in other words how much can I do without crystal space attached? Or how well do blender and crystal space intergrate?
Where do we setup and change things eg.predominantly in blender or crystal space. It's a lot harder project to document and keep track of I recon.. because you've got two apps to keep your eye on.
Maybe some technical updates for us to download and play with and look at the intergration would give us a good idea of what's coming? The community could help find bugs test demo releases etc.
A list of what's been changed in blender and crystal space that updates would be awesome..
Hi all, please Digg it,

Wow, those screenshots look marvelous. They do make me wonder if my computer will even begin to run the game, however.

They look GREAT! :) I think that the blender community is not as interested in games as animated shorts and that is why Peach gets so much more support! I like the games side, but I gotta save up though so I can order the DVD! :/
Keep working on it! :)
