Bleeding Edge Blender Alpha 1
If you're a blender nut and you want the latest and greatest features, then you've come to the right place. Over the past two days I've set-up my Windows machine to do automated builds of the Blender SVN repository whenever there is an update. Then my computer syncs with the Blender SVN once every ten minutes, and if needed compiles a build. It then zips up the blender build and uploads it to the web.

awesome.. thanks, tim&tim! :)
verry useful tool, better than graphicall.org. Thanks Timothy!
Nice tool! Are there chances to get an Mac OSX version too?
There is a distinction to make between BEBlender and Graphicall. The former offers better updates but is still unproven. The latter offers builds for most OS if not all and special builds of branch projects or patches. So: thanks to BEBlender and best of luck and thanks to Graphicall for... all they do and have done.

Sync with SVN every 10 minutes is overload! Once per day should be enough!
Wow
I just tried it. Worked perfectly.
The particles feature is crazy compared to the old version. I need to read up on the new features
Igor: To sync only takes a few bytes of data when there are no changes, such a request takes less load for the blender server than viewing this page on blendernation.
nice, do you also make sse3 optimized versions ?maybe every hour? thx.
Error
./blender: error while loading shared libraries: libgettextlib-0.16.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
:\
Kubuntu hardy alpha 4 (development version of 8.04)
Fixed the dependency issues and linked libgettextlib-0.16.1.so to the 0.17 version, but blender crashes at start :(
I simply Loved it !!
But... How can we control the SSE flag when downloading ?
It detects the Machine architeture optimization Automatically, or starts with SSE only ?
I work on a PIII 1,00 GHz for modelling (energy savings) and render in other machine (Opteron).
Thank You again for help us with the builds !
This is fantastic - thank you!!
aww... no FFMPEG support?
:(
that's the only bad thing I can say about this. Otherwise, good job :)
Very nice see another release there!
