A new version of the Kerkythea rendering software was released this week. There are a lot of new features and tools, which can improve the work of any Blender user that uses Kerkythea for rendering.
If you want to check out a partial list of the new features, visit this thread at the Kerkythea forums. And here is the official announcement.

downloaded yesterday, installed this morning, going through the getting started tutorials in a hour or 2.
Looking forward to this...
Sweet! I'll have to write this one up on my journal. I've been interested in Kerkythea (as well as Yafray) for a while but never had a chance to play around with it. I'll have to check it out!
Jus a note :
it exist a work in progress named Blender2kt (a Blender SVN version that I modified to use Kerkythea as an external renderer) and it works fine with Echo 2008 :

I know jms its a great integration of kt in blender. does it also feature the new options like color ramps? and the new particle system ?
ps. That 3d brush option in kt is cool for adding vegitation etc.
