The Apricot Project now has a blog, just like the Peach project. There we can find news about the project development. Besides the new Blog, the Apricot DVD can already be pre-ordered from the Blender e-shop!
Like the Peach project, all orders before February 1st 2008, guarantee the name of the buyer on the game titles and credits roll.
So, here are the links:
Let`s go there and help the project! I`m already buying my DVD!

This'll be an interesting thing to see.
very cool indeed!!!
I think it's great that two major open source projects are in this together! Best of luck, guys!
i ordered the DVD right away, this will be great!
Am I the only one that thinks pre-ordering something that is nowhere near from done is weird?
@PissedJelly:
If you don´t hear about the Orange project and it´s huge sucess well then... Yes.
(You are the only person)
@PissedJelly: Weird? No, I think (hope) it's the wave of the future for indie media projects. We love to gripe about the big media companies, and how they "don't get it" and only care about mass-appeal, high-dollar blockbusters. Why not bypass them entirely? Once a group has built up a good reputation, it could appeal directly to the fans for funding of a project.
heyw!, i doesn't know that going to use the same characters in both project!
When I first heard about Blender, it was in a magazine article about game development software. Blender seemed by far the best choice of all software listed, as it could do more than the free packages, and cost infinitely less than the commercial ones. How ironic that, years later, I'm investing money to see that functionality realized. Not that I mind; Blender has become my single favorite piece of software to use, in any category.
I'll pre-order this as soon as I can, after Christmas. Happy Holidays, everyone!
@pissedjelly
It's called support too, not just buying a product. Nobody forces you to do it and you can wait till the DVD is out.
For myself I am willing to take a chance (a very safe bet as my experience tells me) on those people. If they'd were to fail me I'd still learn who they are at a much cheaper rate than hiring a P.I. would be... :P

So........ does this mean that as they will be using crystal space, the game blender engine will no longer be developed? Or will Crystal Space now be integrated into Blender?
