Blenderart Magazine #8 Call for Content

Blenderart Magazine is preparing for their 8th issue and they are looking for content. Sandra Gilbert sent in the following call for content:

It's time again to start thinking about articles, tutorials and images for Issue # 8 of Blenderart Magazine.

In this issue we are focusing on ‘Cars'.

You can write about how to create your favorite car, truck or vehicle of any type. That can even include motorcycles. Tutorials, Articles and “Making Of” are all wanted for this issue. So dig out your favorite vehicle and show us how it is done. Also wanted, great shaders, materials and node setups for great looking car materials.

Send in your articles to [email protected], subject: "Article submission Issue # 8 [your article name]"

  • Author guidelines are available here.
  • Use of 'blenderart theme' for blender is recommended for Screen-Shots.

Gallery Images

As usual you can also submit your best renders _based on the theme_ of the issue. As the theme of this issue is Cars, round up your best car renders for submission. Please note if the entry does not match with the theme it will not be published.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Really good news this month.

BlenderArt #8 is quite a custom tailored release !

After my girl riding a scooter, and my policeman on a motorcycle,I'm modelling a Lincoln Continental 1961 :o)

  2. I would like to see Gaurav publishing a tutorial/making of about his highly complex motorcyle! Believe me guys, it's really cool.
