If like me you decided to stop waiting for Blender's texturing tools to be refreshed and bought a permanent license of Substance Painter on Steam, then chances are it's initial use was a little confusing.
Yes the standard tutorials all worked just fine and it was clear just how power Painter is, but then you tried to export a Blender model and likely either ended up with a mass of half empty image textures or found it very hard to just 'texture' individual parts of the model.
Well I think I found a general workflow that lets you keep things mostly Blender like, while also allowing an easy texturing process in Painter.
So in this video I show what one tends to initially experience and then what I do to solve it.

I am probayl well past "aging" but I have subscribed to you YouTube channel and wish you all the best in your process. I too am on my journey with Blender. As my retirement hobby along with learning how to play guitar and understand music theory.
Best of luck with your Blender endeavors and thanks for the sub. I tired to learn the drums when I was young, but turns out I have no coordination or rhythm, so that ruled out Rock Star as a career option.
