Yay for default cubism! :D
BTW, the link isn't linked..
Fixed!
Looks very good.
I CAN'T WAIT!!! This looks like it will be a great release. And the splash screen looks cool.
If anyone is interested, here is more of the cubes images I've made: http://mikepan.com/cubes.html
Your pictures are pretty cool ! The one chosen for splash reminds me of these : http://leegriggs.wordpress.com/2014/06/28/xgen-color/
Amazing... wow.. Unbelievable that all those are from cubes.. Now thats Art .. Great Work.. :)
Congratulations Mike!
It's a really beautiful image.
That is clever and slick.
WOw nice, looks "simple" but when the theary behind the image is explained is marvelous. I always thought the splash screen has a link with the new upgrade? is this true?
The nice thing about the splash screen is that it shows one of release features which is SSS, Volumetric Scatter and Absobtion
Yup! Now we can render all those on the GPU!
The irony is that I went to Mike Pan to get the blend file for the splash screen scene, used 2.72 RC and hit render. The final render looks washout, brighter than the splash screen. In Blender, version .1 upgrade can mean your work may be incompatible.
