"Jean-Michel le caribou" needs you !

While preparing for Gooseberry, Mathieu Auvray has found the time to animate a children's book. He's crowdfunding €18,000 for the project now and the trailer looks really good (but then again, I've come to expect that from Mathieu!).

Hey everyone !I've started the adaptation of a comic book for kids one year ago called "Jean-Michel le Caribou des bois est amoureux" (Jean-Michel the woodland Caribou is in love) and we managed to start production, write the script and dialogues, cast the voices, edit an animatic, and model everything during the past year. Now we work on the animation and we need some support. Our team here in 'Autour de Minuit' in Paris, is working hard on it as I write those lines !

Here is the crowdfunding campaign we've started to help us finish it.

Everything is explained there : where and why this project started, with whom, what does it look like, what are the targets... And a nice one minute trailer ! (in french only for now, unfortunately...)

As usual, everything was made with blender and rendered with cycles which is such a pleasant tool in a production environment ! (especially when working with GPU's)
