William Reynish's new project 'Whole' will premiere in Copenhagen on June 6. You can join him for the viewing and drinks!
Hi there,I'm very excited to be finishing my latest short film, Whole. It's my graduation film from The National Film School of Denmark where I've attended a course in fllm directing for the past three years.
It's about a girl who just lost her boyfriend, leaving a large missing hole in her stomach. Her girl friend attempts to help fill out the hole with alcohol and partying, but the girl finds a more holistic solution: She must go into a trance and find her inner power animal. But what she finds is not exactly what she expected.
The 12 minute short film will premiere in a couple of weeks, on June 6th, inside the wonderful cinema of the film school. Blenderheads who are in the area are welcome to attend the premiere which will feature Whole, plus five other great new animated shorts.
The evening starts at 16:30 with screenings at 17:00 and 18:00, with drinks afterwards. It will be available online later in the year after a festival circulation.
The film is made in collaboration with The Animation Workshop, and rendering was done using the excellent RenderStreet.st service. It is all animated in Blender and rendered with Cycles.
Thanks to the awesome team and all the great people who helped out.
Cheers
-William Reynish

Unbeliaveble quality...
That background scenario was made with pngs or real models?
They are real models, but a lot of the details are in the textures.
Thanks for the fast reply,

Just for study purpose! =)
